South Park Youth Association

This registration session will allow you to register as a volunteer head coach or assistant coach with South Park Baseball for the Spring 2024 Season. The registration is mandatory.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

(please read before registering)

You will first enter information to register you in our system as a Coach or Assistant Coach. If you are a returning coach who completed all training requirements in a previous season, your registration will be complete. 

If not, you will then be required to enter information to allow the Criminal Background Check to be completed (this requires electronically signing several waivers).

If you have not had the required sex abuse training within the last 2 years, you will be required to do so before your registration is completed. Once you complete the Checkout process (there is no charge for the registration) you will receive an email telling you that you need to complete the APS/Sexual Abuse/Awareness Training.  You may click the link in the email or go back into your account where the link will be provided.

The APS training is MANDATORY and takes about 50 minutes, but you will ONLY have to do it once every 2 years. 

NOTE: For those of you coaching all-stars, please retain your certificate that confirms your completion of the training.

South Park is affiliated with Cal Ripken/Babe Ruth Baseball. These organizations, as well as federal law mandate that participants in coaching youth sports undergo a criminal background check and Sex Abuse Awareness/Prevention Training once every two years.  This registration process will enable you to complete those steps and be in full compliance.

Your service as a volunteer head coach or assistant coach will satisfy your family's volunteer requirement for the 2024 spring season.
